55. Textus Instructus

In this edition of Footnotes, Pastor Mark and Pastor Brady put on their scholarly hats and tackle the topic of textual criticism in the New Testament. In our expositional series through the Gospel of John, we are approaching John 7:53-8:11, which most modern English translations acknowledge was not included in the earliest manuscripts. How can we know that our Bible is reliable? How should believers approach a passage like this?
