Luke 2:8-20 (Hebrews 13:20-21)

Ask:

  • What happened while the shepherds were watching their flocks at night? (an angel of the Lord appeared to them)

  • What good news did the angel tell the shepherds? (That a Savior has been born in Bethlehem)

  • What sign did the angel give the shepherds? (the baby will be wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger)

  • Who glorified God in this passage? (The angels, the shepherds, Mary) How?

How can we glorify God today? (By worshiping Him, loving Him, and obeying Him)

Sing:

The First Noel

Pray:

Glorious God in the highest heaven, thank You that a Savior was born to us. Only in Him can we truly have peace. May we be amazed at You and what You have done. May we treasure You in our hearts and remember Your wonderful works. Amen.
